Not sure if this has been posted but I thought I'd share just in case it has not been.

Fast forward to 3:00 for the pellet discussion.

Very interesting. Lovin the big storage system and individual radiators. I'll bet that storage is expensive, but still a great idea. Wonder I I will ever get the option to use my solar system to heat water. More likely I would be charging batteries.

    Hello
I know that since pellet boilers do not start and stop quick like gas or oil boilers that some of them use quite a bit of pellets. Having large storage makes them more efficient but takes more room than I have in my house. Therefore I am going with an ECO Smart system from Home Depot with optional 40 gal storage that I have on my Buderus Inderct boiler's SuperStore.

The trick is having enough juice to run the system so while I was juicing up the new workshop I sidestepped in a 125 amp subpanel for the ECO Smart System in my mechanical room, then I can easily add Solar Panels to get the bills way down.

Built like a German car.... expensive to buy... complex to fix and you had better have a cardiac surgeon on retainer when you get the repair bill.

That's most things that are German.

If you can think like a German, you can fix it.

It helps if you are half German.:yes:
