    I just have mill get me as much as they can out of it.

    they stay if you mill and immediately stack tightly together for a few months, before stickers, sap wood turns dark brown. But I like the contrast it can offer on small projects, so I think I will just sticker and let dry. Likely 2 yrs to air dry it. I get it cut 4/4 usually, so green it’s about 1 and 1/8th thick

    Some sweet logs for milling. Cant blame you. Love to come across some myself for the mill. BW rare score for me. Be sure to post pics after its milled.

    Mill finished and got back 479 board feet. So now I’ll clean it up with chop saw, sticker and wait. I got most 4/4, but got about 70 feet in 8/4.

    Well, a hot day to process, but all done and stickered. Pulled a couple pieces with some interesting grain and added a little water to show grain. now we wait 12-18 months!
