April 1980 Just finished loading some 1,400 0f Woodwidow's slides into the computer. Some pictures taken many years and again today - the trees really do grow back!
The machine is a Washington TL6 - a 1956 model. Hook Rollers and mechanical loading brakes.
This was a really sweet old machine to operate and over the years this was one of my 5 favorites to operate.
All good things must come to a end and she was on the way to the scrap pile!

April 1980. The machine was only capable of about 12 mph on her own but with a tow, could travel at 20 on good road.

They grow bit super slow!! Our pines would go from seedlings to 100fters in that time
