    Those are used for rituals and ceremonies - or so my Google search provided. And another place says they were used instead of oak nails for boats as well as awls. So if someone is reconstructing, or constructing things in the old manner, they might be useful.

    Almost everything has value, you just have to be able to connect with those who see that value.

    Someone left a review of the memorial they made for their dad, I can see selling some for a couple of the uses you listed but I can't imagine being able to sell very many myself. This wasn't a "that's stupid/useless" post FYI:thumbs:

    I just realized that ad was from Etxy. That is mostly a crafters site, from what I've seen, so now it makes more sense. As many places as were selling them, I guess more people than you or I imagine use them.
