Lots of ugly Ash down here in KY too. That's all I've been cutting this fall. The 261 can't stand it either.

Now you need to get it split and stacked!

Nice stack of wood you got there Fuzz! I like that smaller stuff, easy peasy to work with. :)

Looks like a nice day in the woods! :)

That size is ideal for me. Not much splitting wood be involved for my stacks.

Looks like you had a good day neighbor.....I sat in the woods y-day with the bow and looked at all the trees that would make good firewood.

Locust, I sat there yesterday and had a small buck 20 yards. He was dumb. But then he spotted a doe and away he went. Neighbor shot an 8 point last night and we found it this morning in our creek. Wife's nephew shot a doe and is coming this afternoon after work to hopefully find it. That one too came onto our place. All the walking around by others won't help our hunting but that's part of hunting too.

Now once you get it home, you can bust your ash....into splits.

Thanks ! My parents have 50 acres of woods with that size Ash throughout. Im lucky that I'll never have to deal with anything too big !
