I've seen this somewhere before. Seems like the system is constrained by the length of the pushrod and the amount of wood stacked/pallets as the skidsteer will hit the roof before pushing all the stacks in towards the boiler. Neat idea nonetheless.
I think the guy who has all of those pallet cages and a set of forks for moving them about has a little more flexibility in moving his wood about. Not sure if that was posted on this site or elsewhere.
Looks pretty cool to me. Got to stack real nice to keep them up while moving I'd guess. Saw a guy that put a roof on rails over his pool. 5 minutes to convert from indoor to outdoor pool. Was very well done. Looked permanent when closed.
He should incorporate that Ultimate Splitter that someone had put on here sometime back.................
Considering it's feeding a wood boiler, which I understand generally consumes more wood than a wood stove, and assuming he's splitting green wood and loading the far end directly from the splitter, do you think there is enough space under there to season a couple years ahead before it reaches the end of the line? I think if it was my system I would have the loading platforms on wheels and have a slight slope on the tracks so they naturally would roll towards the boiler, rather then having to slide/push them.
