I've wanted to post this for a while now, so I'm going to do it now. I'm a veteran! I'm proud of my service to this nation and to its people! I still hold fast to the belief that ours is the greatest nation under God! I've done things for our country that I'm not proud of, but will never apologize for doing. This club deepens my faith in people that there are those of us that will fight for right and give a helping hand when needed. My idea here is to have anybody who has served or is serving shout out. Tell us your service branch. I salute you all! USCG/USN 1994-2004
we did that on Veterans day, although some may of missed it http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/military-roll-call.7823/#post-189407
I'm sorry that this turned out to be a repost of sorts. At the time I had not yet found the good people of FHC. My apologies.
No need to apologize. I'll say thank you time and time again. Because of you and the rest of our troops (past and present), we're able to enjoy the freedom we have here in the USA. There's still many of us that believe in the same values that this country was founded on. Thank you for your service MJ!
Thanks for your service. If I read right you did double duty with the Coast Guard and Navy. Good for you !
My hat is off to all service men and women. Sadly, in my younger years I enlisted and then was later drafted but rejected both times. Seems they were scared of the fact that I had polio in my youth and also only one eye. I really wanted to serve but never got the chance. Yet I am proud to say we have 2 sons; one served in the Navy (submarine) and the other in the Air Force.
Thank u to all of u that served if it wasn't for your service we would not have the freedom tha we have . Thank u to all of ya. My dad was a Vietnam Vet 68-72.
Guys like you are the BLOOD of this nation. Now matter how many wounds we receive (both foreign and domestic) you have been there to help heal us. God Bless all who serve/have served/will serve. You all make me very proud.
never a bad day to mention the Military. especially today, on 1/16/1986 i actually officially joined the United States Army at the Richmond Va. MEPS station enroute to ft Jackson SC. so today marks my 29th anniversary of swearing the Oath.
