We finally got the go ahead from our local Baptist Church to clean up a nice size oak they had dropped by a tree service. It is the same place that was in the Holy Hickory, Batman thread.
    The main stem.

Used the MS461 w/28" bar to handle the big parts 0119231143.jpg
The 'Bota and grapple sure we're handy. Pulling the butt section out of the limbs 0119231152.jpg
I didn't put the tape on it, but it was about a grapple full, loading the butt section on the dump trailer... 0119231153a.jpg
We only took the main stem and a couple of the biggest top sections... 0119231159.jpg

The smaller logs we cleaned up and carried to a church member... Got them a decent trailer load. 0119231200a.jpg
Also found a small cherry that had been cut and hung up, was able to pull it down and add to their load. 30962.jpeg
We were able to cut a 2' section off the stump 0119231235.jpg
Got it loaded...oak and the hickory stump, only had a couple miles to go, heavy load, probably 10K. Had to pull it uphill to dump...:hair::picard::thumbs: 0119231325a_HDR.jpg 0119231325_HDR.jpg

Probably use both splitters, the County Line 30 ton to break them down and Blue Samson for the fast finish...

About the only green things here are pines, hollies, laurel oaks and a few bushes...

We'll take about any size...lol...the goldilocks size are great for 1 pass thru Blue Samson, make great time, especially if someone can help load the rounds. But the bigger logs makes loads a lot faster. And yes, we are so thankful for the :tractor:...

Thanks, brother. It was a good area right where the tree was. Where the cherry was, is hilly. Big gullies in the area too.
