59 high and 45 low on Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Will be a much needed break from the hot dry Texas panhandle weather.

Nope, the reason for firing up the stove is to verify that my system works not for heating. I replaced the auger motor during the hot season as well as cleaned the stove and did gasket work. I just buttoned it up without starting it up long enough to light a fire off, not even long enough to fill the auger system up. I would like to be certain it all works as it should before I need it. The stove was installed on a nice hot August day in 2008 so I know I don't want to have a fire until it gets a lot cooler. It got burned in with the windows and doors open, it was still too damm hot. Bear and heat do not mix.

It's 47f as I type this with a high of 50 predicted. Next couple days will be upper 40's maybe 50's type of scenario with lots of wet falling! Kinda puts a damper on getting "load number 13" with the pickup. (Found a good spot out in the woods that I just can't stay away from!)

I promised the trees cut the same in the rain as they do in the sun :)

I work rain or shine, doesn't bother me much. I get busy enough that I don't even notice the rain.

I never worked in the rain unless it was an emergency. I get wet, cold. The ground gets slippery. Glasses get wet then I can't see a darn thing. I'm not motivated to work in those conditions.
