Before this rain event, the Brook didn't have enough water in it to clear out the fallen leaves, it has enough water for a good ride on a tube all the way down to the river. 102_0599.JPG

Really great pics. A little warmer and the tubes would have been fun.

This rain should certaintly put a dent in the drought. I hope those with low or dried up wells get filled up.

Tubing.......sounds fun! Hot tomato salad propulsion?:D

Don't seem like it was that long ago you were talking about taking a dip in there, now your stove is running.

The Brook is down 6-8 inches from it's high yesterday, I'm going off the watermark on a certain rock.

Nice pics TW. We were up your way a couple weeks ago in Pottersville (Natural Stone Bridge Caves) and then as far as Messina. Water was down. Nice to see it running higher.

Great pics as always. Doesn't take long for the high water to go down, huh?

Nope, just keep the trees out of it and she'll move a chit load of water to the river.

How's college going for your boy? I haven't been to DD since I met both of you there for coffee.

Doing good. Talking about changing majors but that's probably par for the course. Don't think I've been to DD since either. Hope you've been able to get every settled on your end.

With the snow melt and all the rain, the brook is getting full but that's a good thing. 20161201_135730.jpg

The creek beside my place was almost bone dry by the end of this past summer, really ticked off the ducks and Blue Herons, but now it's just short of flood stage. A couple more rain storms and the flippin' crick will be flowing through my basement.
