    I feel the need to say this after a few very good conversations lately with you guys. Thanks for making this site what it is ! You continually prove there is a good side and that it is the predominant side of human nature. The amount of support you have all shown in getting this site up and on its feet just staggers us mods and Scotty alike. We started this thing up to get away from politics and to be SOCIAL with friends while fulfilling our main purpose in helping others out. There have been ups and downs through this process and many of you have stepped up to help and offer help. So thank you all you guys are the best !

    Hey, that's why we made this new forum.....that's what forums ARE FOR, ain't it now? So keep on chatterin'.....I'm glad to have every single one of ya......
    And like Pete said, it's great to be able to talk about firewood, GUNS, forging knives, chasing the neighbor's dog out of your yard, WHATEVER.......

    Fact is, a lot of us here have similar likes and hobbies, and it's good to vent our passions somewhere common like that. Keep on sharing your knowledge of burning wood AND chit-chattin', boys....that's what we're here for....:cool:

    There has been a Thank you Scotty thread. A Thank you mods thread.

    It's only fitting to have a Thank you members. You guys are what this site is about. Whether you are a seasoned vet that has been burning for over 50 yrs, or you just got a new Wood stove, Pellet stove, OWB, Gasifier, insert, chainsaw, etc? And your looking for advice on what type of wood, pellets, fuel, oil, etc?

    You all make this what it is.

    Well, this year's Black Locust Award will definitely go to Scotty Overkill. But thanks for the thanks. At least you realize that this forum is made up of posters and is not the sole embodiment of the owner (or their giant egos) as is evident on some other sites.

    I've known & worked with some people who deserve the Ailanthus/Tree Of Hell award.Never burned or cut any Willow,but have heard it stinks almost as bad.... :rofl: :lol:

    Yes, do you guys like the new smileys? I got sick and tired of those stupid, multi-colored ones.....
    I like the "action" smileys.....if you guys want 'em changed again, let me know.....but for now, this is what we're using. If you guys find a good one now and then that pertains to our forum, let me know the URL and I'll add it to our "list"......:thumbs:
