I could hear Paulie Shore singing that as I played today. Decent size Beech had snapped off at the crown last year, I need to go back and cut up the decent size branches and the crown itself. This was the main trunk I hinged cut and dropped, with a widow maker hanging from it... Lil pucker factor during the process, but thank god ima country boy :)

Lol, it literally just got serviced, and it gets hit with a hot water power washer to get it spotless.. Trust me, its usually caked in mud everywhere.

The trailer however is beat to heck and gross, just the pic I guess.

    God Bless Mr John Denver.

Edit to add: Video from 1985 farm aid concert. Way back before being green or country was cool.

Yes and you are also 36 so all your reactions are quick. When you get older, the process slows down and down and down some more. you won't go near a widow maker then.
Love the tractor. You are fortunate to have it at your age.

Nice to see some bare ground! Snow starting to get deep around here. Also, I like the tractor and trailer.

Its 62* today here, def no snow... We did get 3+" of rain since I posted this yesterday. If I went out now, those tires would be caked in the first few feet of my dirt road. Supposed to get in the 30's at night again here next few days.

What model Kioti is your tractor? I'm a Kubota guy but my Stihl dealer sells Kioti. Thinking about upgrading this year and I will consider a Kioti because I like those guys.

CK30HST. I have the backhoe too... This machine is used going into the woods, so a 30hp was about the biggest footprint I wanted before the machines got too big. I looked at them all, and when you really looked at the true spec's, this one was a beast compared to the others... As well, I wanted the backhoe to help with firewood... I have a hydro thumb with the foot pedal. When i fell a tree, I pick it up (size dependent obviously) and hold it in the center and buck from both sides... Makes it really easy... Anyways, the Kioti's was a true subframe, nor did the 3pt linkage need to be removed. I use the backhoe for a bunch more than firewood however, its a super expensive gadget, but I never "dont want it"..

I have two different JD dealers about 10miles either direction, a Mahindra, NH, Kubota etc etc all within 15min.. We live in big ag country... Both production fields and poultry, no shortage of machinery around here... Kioti won, I have nothing negative to say about it, and I dont regret the descision in the least.

Daedong (parent company) made a hell of a skid steer and mini's (Bobcat, but i think they sold it) so I wouldnt expect any less from them with a tractor.

Good to hear you like the Kioti. Looking for a 35-40hp tractor to help me work on my new hobby-food plots for deer. Won't need a backhoe as my brother is an excavating contractor with a Case 580 and a 9 ton excavator.

Next time you have the backhoe in action snap some pics. I thought that was a B series Kubota at first glance
I'm probably ordering an L2501 this week with backhoe

No problem.. The Kubota was 2nd pick, but you have to take all of the 3pt linkage off to mount the backhoe, and it appeared to be a royal PIA. I also compared the spec's, and I forget the difference, but the Kioti had more azz, and it was a good bit cheaper too boot... We got 5" of rain total now in last 24hrs so it will be 2 weeks or so, but I have a date with a stump at my parents place where they want to extend their garden.

Will - I cleared a 1/2 acre kill plot in the woods with this tractor 100% turn key. I literally cut the trees, dug the stump/roots etc etc... I have a 60" Woods tiller.. The Kioti did a great job with it. We also have a sizeable garden that we work up all the time. Ive never pulled a disc with it, but I did get a big used Cat2 8' grader blade... I cut off the old rusted on pins and made them Cat1... I plowed the decent snow we got this year with it just fine so I imagine it would giggle at a equal size disc.

Same here in NC. 63 and a gallon of rain. Still raining. High 50's this week. I have a fire tho just to get the inside temp up a few degrees so the morning won't be so bad and the kids won't complain when their feet hit the hardwood. If it were up to me, I'd let it die out. lol

I love burning beech, and selling such dense wood for pulpwood means you cut 1 cord and get paid for 1.25 cord it weighs up so much...but i will stop short of saying I like that song, or John Denver. I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard...or a chainsaiw hit a spike embedded in wood...or the wife say I got a headache...yeah you get the idea.

Over the years I have learned to tone down my resentment of John Denver. A few years back I met John Denver's one and only fan, and after enduring a death threat, no longer say how I REALLY feel in case there might be someone else that actually likes him.
