    have 1895.6 miles on the new bike

    375 +\- are miles from last year
    Over 1500 this summer
    Still have a Few weeks before freeze up, hope
    to break thru 2000

    Amazined me what 2 weeks of lazy moose hunting
    can do to the legs. A 26 mi ride made them jello
    Did Much better on yesterday's 23 mi ride ,

    I'm with you on the ride on new asphalt Dave. It is a super ride. Sadly, I had a nice 34 mile route that was mostly new asphalt and super smooth. That lasted about 3 years before most of it got broken up and the rest of it got chip seal on it. That chip seal can be nasty for a while. That is why I change routes quite often around here. But, sadly, it appears my riding days might be numbered.
