red neck all the way. but the wife approved. lol I install garage doors and openers for a living and took these 9x7 doors down recently and my wife wanted me to cover the wood. No tarps she said. I do have 2 4x8 trailers full of ash rounds ready to split. A couple of pallets for sides and it will be full in no time.

    Dry wood is premium!
Don't see any snow, so snow load isn't an issue :)

I have always covered my wood. We have a idea for a nice woodshed to build before next winter. I'll be happy then. But the wood is dry today even after the rain, sleet and snow.

You had a nice resource, glad you put it to work.
So it looks a little redneck, who cares....

Wood shed moved up in the family budget and to do list. Will be selling wind blown tarps on eBay after.

This is the 3rd winter burning and the wife said enough with fighting tarps. It also traps moisture under it. Better than nothing though. Especially in last winters snow.

These pics are from last winter. I can still move wood by the trailer load but I am using the trailers for work. So I have just been cutting as needed here on our place this year. Will probably start cutting on the farm before the frost thaws as long as the new wood shed is in place. We plan on a 12'x24' or 30'. can't wait for it.
