Amazon has a 3 pack on sale for $19ish plus tax. I figured I would take a chance for that price. I’ve noticed the Oregon chains have went up in prices, actually about $4-5 a chain. Has anyone tried the Tallox brand?
Got the chains today and I’m actually very surprised. The cutting tooth is definitely larger then the Oregon chain, everything else is basically the same. Put the chain on the bar and it fits well. If it wasn’t -5 outside and getting colder I would try a few cuts with it. I know packaging isn’t that big of a deal but they came in a sweet heavy duty box with dividers, no plastic whatsoever. The information on the back was awesome too
Had a chance to finally use one of the chains. It worked great, cut a pickup load of oak, wood was from the compost site and was dirty. I think I’m definitely going to order a few more boxes.
Another pickup load today and chain is still working great. I ordered two more 3 packs on Amazon, less then $20 for the box of 3.
