I've always wanted to turkey hunt off a boat so were headed down tomorrow to try it out. Will be cruising the lakeside at dawn listening for gobbles then head ashore after them. I'm excited to try another method of turkey hunting!

Sounds fun. Never heard of doing it that way but it makes sense.

Sounds like a blast! I was going to go yesterday morning but got some stomach virus that had me destroyed for 24 hours. I'm hoping they are active on Saturday!

Good thing I dug up this 5 week old thread. Seems the game room is a bit slow with posts this old front page.

    Some rule here about
no shooting from a moving motorized boat.

    Have fun .
Keep your powder dry ! :)

You get out of the boat to shoot. I dont see many turkeys on the edge of the lake anyway.

Technically there are some grey laws on firearms in boats but they are never enforced that I know of cause so many hunt the lakes.
