Never heard of it. Once again, I'm forced to consult Dr. Google. He's getting tired of hearing from me.

I took my wife to an NRA pistol course over Mothers Day weekend a couple years ago.

I still haven't lived that one down.

It's a conspiracy. It's bad enough we have Valentines Day and Mothers Day to forget, let alone birthdays and anniversaries.

Yes its a Hallmark holiday. Aka made to sell stuff ! But that doesn't mean its bad still kinda fun to have a second lovers holiday. In fairness I don't really do holidays other than Christmas & Halloween but the wife reminds me of them if I forget ! That's what marriage is about men forgetting everything and the women reminding us poor souls

Those things never last long around here (the gloves and wedges). Stacking wood shreds the glove fingers so bad that they usually have to be reinforced with duct tape covering the holes. I had never heard of Sweetest Day either.

My Wife and I rarely buy stuff for one another (Valentines Day, B day, Sweetest Day, etc) On Christmas I normally surprise her with something, but she buys what she wants for her holidays, and I buy what I want for my holidays. Been working for a dozen yrs so far... Not gonna quit now. Plus, who knows what you want better than you??

It wasn't until about 3:330p yesterday that she said Happy sweetest day. I heard it earlier on the radio, while working in the basement. But she was in the shower, so I forgot (again) . :D

When she told, I told her and we both laughed. I have a very down to earth woman who knows she doesn't need me to buy here something (that she prob didn't want anyways) to tell her I love her. We have 2 beautiful children and every night before bed, we tell each other "I love you" and a kiss to seal the deal. :)

I'm not a very romantic person.. But she knows I love her and I know she loves me. It works for us. :)
