Surgery for my dog

    This is my dog - Otis. He's spoiled rotten, and he doesn't do any tricks, but I love him. We found out a couple days ago that he has a perineal hernia, which can be fatal if left untreated. They gave us 2 options - he will need either a very expensive surgery, or we need to think about putting him down. :tears:

    So, I'm going to pay for the surgery - which will likely cost several thousand dollars. Your prayers and well wishes would be appreciated. :)

    If you have a veterinary college nearby, it wouldn't hurt to call them and ask about prices for the same procedure.

    once had an Ausie with diabetes, spent monies we didn't have to help her. wouldn't have felt right if we did not try to help her. good luck to you and your pal for a successful operation and recovery.
