So does anyone talk about suppliers of cord wood on here? I am just curious, as my "usual" guy is already booking out to August for delivery and is 225 a cord. He has been great in the past, but waiting until August and 225 are both tough to take.

I am central NH if this is something we can talk about.

Let me know if I put this in the wrong place.

    No help here but
glad to se you wanting to get your wood stacked & seasoning . Many buy their wood
    in Oct & start burning.
Anything but red oak should burn reasonably well by Winter if you get it soon.

2 & 3 year seasoned wood sure burns great, but everyone's not able to store that much on their property.

    Good luck ! :)

Your price of $225 seems about right for green. About the same down my way too.
You can kind of measure the pricing by going on CL and see what is being charged
    there.

Blu is right, as long as the wood has been cut at about 16" long. And that's what we all think of, generally, as a typical wood length. At that $ rate… you'd spend $600 for a cord of wood. Sounds like a lot.
