Got out at 7:30. First hour of work in photos. Had to noodle that big block of hickory as it was stuck on the wedge. Last picture shows several chunks of bark and the noodles I used trying to avoid the mud. Great Sunday morning. Came in for breakfast, backout soon
Someone rose at the cock-a-doodle to get this splitter job going... Hope your b-fast had bacon in the menu. Getting it done
Love everything about your pics, especially your splitter, looks like a well oiled machine... Nice work.
I clicked on this one reluctantly...title had me a bit worried Some nice work there already...muddy everywhere right now it looks like...definitely is here.
Nice pics Pig-nut hickory ? Weather similar here, but still freezing at night but 40°s day time & yucky
Nice work! Looks about like my place, mud everywhere!!! As for being at the helm of the splitter by 730 it brings to mind a saying from one of my favorites Mr. John Wayne... "Let's go! We're burning daylight!!!" P.S. I feel the same way I had mine running around 7 this morning
Today's splits. Not my best day, but progress nonetheless. Mostly beech, hickory with some maple and ash.
Oh you know you wuz like, "Wait... What?! I gotta SEE this!" Jus' kiddin' Brenn I was a little skeptical too, but we all like a little play on words sometimes Nice work Woodsnwoods I was still staring at the back of my eyelids at 7:30 I did eventually get to play with my wood tho...maybe I'll start a thread to clarify
