Made a trip for a load after getting another firewood permit.
Nice Fir log despite the knots.

Running a Shindaiwa 577 with a square ground chain. Was doing well until I got it in the dirt. Didn’t respond well to that at all but managed to finish off the load. Will need to put it on the grinder before the next trip.
Just enough drizzle to keep things damp but no wind.

We are making a dent in the log stack.

Looks good other than the damp. I'd rather work at -20 than damp & 40. You're sure getting some nice wood outta there.

Reloader, nice looking load. How long do you typically let that season?

I’ve got a three year supply available so this may be a ways out before it goes in the wood shed. It’s been down a while already so if need be I’d have no qualms about burning it in Fall of 2022 after letting it sit in the sun next Summer.
