I went out for my daily Covid bike ride through the neighborhood today, only this time I changed my normal route to get some new scenery. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye a beautiful site appears. A wall of splits. Naturally, I stop to admire it for a few seconds when I realize that Ive seen this stack before. None other than MikeyB. I must say that it looks even better in person. ASNR!!

While I wouldn't loot it, I would look at it for a few minutes creepily generating some discomfort for neighbors. Luckily this time I limited my gaze to 15 seconds or so before I went on my merry way.

That’s hysterical. My yard/stacks are a bit un organized right now, looking to work on a lean too on the side of my deck.
Was Working in the city today but the Next time you pass by and I’m in the yard stop and say hello.

Then there's people like me, it seems the whole town knows about the "guy with all the wood in his yard"
I've been called worse things before...

Same here, buddy. I'm the "weirdo" fireman/firebug who's always splitting and stacking wood, shirtless, cranking Motorhead or Rage Against the Machine. Until they have a problem tree on their property - and I get a knock on my door...

Bro - I literally cried when Layne Staley died. I love Audioslave, but I'm a bit of a Soundgarden snob. Maybe I'm showing my age?

I forgive Loon. I would probably be angry after saving that gerbil from Richard Gere's house too. That poor thing still looks shell shocked.

I thought it was funny that I had to stop when I saw the stacks. It was even more funny when I have seen those pictures on this board. I would never take a picture of his stacks, or house and post them on the boards.

Your situation sounds familiar to one of mine in the past. Hard to see an older friend or family member get used by his own. I know a guy who waited one day before selling the ranch after a very good friend of mine died. The boy never helped him on the ranch at all. He was tough enough to send his wife to work with a black eye however. He doesn't do it anymore. In fact now she has found a better man. He actually bought the ranch, and treats her very well. The boy is probably passed out with empty beer bottles surrounding him right now.

I Always have Alice In Chains/Motörhead/Soundgarden/ Priest/Maiden cranking when I’m in the yard as well.
Good thing my 2 neighbors are metal heads. Lol

I wasn't trying to imply anything there. I think it's great you picked it out. I've made some great friends here!

That I am. If I had an abundance of land I would have to change my name to buZZsawNick.
