Due to this fair weather we've been having. The P43 has run twice, more for ambiance than heat. I just lit the P68 tonight, for the first time in a week! Weather looks fair again tomorrow, then a cold weekend, and then we are back up into the fair weather again next week. The two days leading up to Christmas are predicted to be 60s day / 50s night. To add to this, normally I'm the thermostat deputy dog around here, and when oil was $3.00+ a gallon, I would cringe every time the furnace kicked on. These days, with HHO prices hovering around $1.60, I'm finding I don't really care very much, because honestly it cost less than much of what's in my pellet horde! What a crazy start to the winter!

Last year at this time I was over 50 bags. Don't think I have hit bag 35 yet?????? Stove has only taken the chill off in the AM and barely fires in the PM. A few of the warm days we actually got to open the slider and let some fresh air in!! :D

Only problem is I haven't had to use the :vulture:as I still don't have any room in the stash........... I think she flew north for the winter!! o_O

One good thin we got some :seasoned:in and caugth a few from the bank. Almost tore the cover off the boat one 60°F Sunday!! :dennis:

Mines been burning pretty steady. When you see 60, I see 45. Plus my father in law being here makes a big difference as the bedroom he is in is cold and usually closed off. So with the door open all the time, I'm using as much as last year. My wife called me one day last week when she got home from work complaining the house was cold and the stove was off with a light blinking. I told her to see if there were any pellets in the hopper. Nope (Oops). And she started in, blah, blah, blah. So I told her if your father would go back to Florida where he belongs, this won't happen. End of conversation.

I've only burned 10 bags so far - just for kicks. Paid $1.72 for oil last week and the furnace hasn't been running much with the weather we have been having.

P61A here outside Phila.. warm winter so far also...
room/auto in the AM and stove shuts off till evenings and then I still end up shuting it down with these rather balmy nights.
used prob 25 bags since middle October. Oil has only been used for Hot water so maybe 1/4 tank burned since Early August fillup.

Fired mine up today since it'll be cold for a few days. I dumped bag 9 into the hopper.

Oil during the day if needed and firewood at night when it gets below 40 or so has been taking care of most everything since November 1.
