Right where I want to be.
Place about 20 minutes from me sells it. Last time I was in there, it was around $12.

I just bought a can at the local stove shop for $12...they had a huge color selection. Ordering online looked to be about double the $. Probably hazmat shipping $ ?

Around $15 a can locally. Its not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Just have plenty of ventilation when you use it, it's nasty stuff.
A good respirator should be required equipment, a simple dust-mask doesn't cut it.

I paid $12-13 locally. Which is kinda surprising, considering the lack of stove shops in these parts.

They had two cans of black metallic in stock. Had to wait a couple days when I needed the third and fourth cans. BKK is a big stove, and multiple coats on bare metal takes a lot of paint. That was 5-6 years ago I think. Stove still looks great. And so do the side shields, Beetle-Kill ;)

Still need another can, but I got two coats on the stove. Replaced 4 firebrick, new door gasket, adjusted bypass tension, adjustedadjusted latch for the new gasket. Cooked off the new paint with the windows open last night...

Had your old paint failed? New BKs have a lot more metallic than my 2012 model. Can you tell if stovebright changed their metallic black or did BK just pick a new color?

I've got a couple spots where the paint is getting pretty thin. Some bare metal where the factory painters missed.

Mostly because the wife got her robe against the hot stove one night when checking on it, i think the robe was polyester but it left a bunch of melty plastic on the top. Also had a roof flashing issue at the chimney that lead to some rainwater on the stovetop. Tthose and battle wounds from regular wear and tear...

BK changed vendors. They don't use stove bright anymore.

I do not know. I just remember it from a discussion with a BK executive on another forum somewhere.
