This one is M-28 at the Alger/Schoolcraft count line. M-28 was closed from Marquette to Seney. I'll bet they are happy they had a carport rather than a garage. This is in Cheboygan These nect 2 are in Escanaba
I'll be honest seeing that actually makes my stomach turn after the couple of storms we recently had which is no comparison to something like that and just being done with winter already.
The last picture reminded me of winter in Rhinlander, WI back in the early 50's, when the snow was plowed into the center of the streets and a blower came along and blew the snow into dump trucks to haul it away. I was rather young back then and big equipment, moving snow like that, was a fascinating sight.
just think of the mess when it starts to melt. I am so glad I live in paradise where it just rains and rains and rains all winter.
I find it unusual that almost every pic shows tons of snow on the ground but if you look at the roofs in the pics, almost none of them come close to corresponding the same amount of snow from a fresh storm. Good news is that almost every school has re-opened for classes after at least 4 days shut down due to the storm.
