Huge storm for us up here. Won’t see my outside stacks until June! 80+ cm in 24 hrs, 120-150 km/h winds. 250cm since Dec. 24! Wicked.

A friend of mine in NH, has a metal roof. As snow slid from the roof, it piled up against a door just like your picture. He was able to carve shelves into it, and kept beer there. The snow insulated the beer from really frigid temps. Beer didn't freeze.

You better close that door, you'll get a draft in that 5" space!

    :hair:

Sooo, I gotta ask, how on earth do you start clearing that?

    Be safe!

I was watching that low deepen on the euro model through Mikes weather page spaghetti models as it passed safely passed us and wondered why I hadn’t heard anything on the news in your neighborhood.

In my experience go out a window and start digging. At some point tunnels are better as they stay clear..

Lost power for a couple hours earlier, staying with mom in town. I understand my area has had some flickering but not a total loss so far

Some more pics from twitter. The first one is someone’s loving room. An avalanche came from up above their house. The den one one is the rooftops of people’s car and poor ol buddy in the last one!
