Yep that's right, i still don't have my stove installed. I've received everything but the tee. I ordered all the parts to install back on nov 3 and everything was in stock except the tee. Apparently duravent is making the 3pvp-tad adapter tee "to order" and i was told it usually takes 5-7 days to ship once the order is placed. The ship date has been pushed back week after week and well, here i sit over a month later with another updated ship date of dec 22! At this rate i'll have the freakin stove installed by spring.

    Sorry just needed to vent

    No pun intended? lol

That stinks!!! I just Googled that part number and it looks like a bunch of places might carry it. Maybe try giving a bunch of those places a call and see if you can get one this week.

lol didn't even realize the pun   .. I've actually called a few places already and they've all said the same thing. Even though it shows "in stock" on their site they pretty much place the order with duravent and then it's shipped directly. It sounds like the problem is on duravent's end.

Yeah that sucks that one piece is holding everything up. I hope you can find something sooner!

That just sucks. Making the adapter tee on special order is pretty lame. I lost all respect for Duravent after my install.

    Never again!

Leaks from every seem that they said I didn't have to seal. Broken double tee(bad spot weld-inner liner came out with the cap the first time I removed it) that was deemed my fault. So I had to buy another. Second one was also junk, But this time I knew better, Returned to the store and finally got one that was actually spot welded were it was supposed to be.

The tee in question is the double tee. Big bucks too!

Pellet has a new 4-pawed friend over a year ago, but I forget the name......Ashes? Cord? Clinker? :hair:

I can't remember, but I thought he said something happened to him?

Only pellet was there the last couple times.

    I think it was woody?

I'll check Tuesday but I'm pretty sure there is one at the shop I could ship to you. We rarely use those. I haven't been in the warehouse in a minute looking for one but I'm quite sure there is one around.

IMHO, ICC is MUUUUUCH better than Duravent....leaks are rare, and with Duravent, they are the rule rather than the exception

    x2

I have multifuel and actually use it sometimes, Even though I burn mostly pellets. Can the ICC be used for it?

I though I read somewhere it was mutifuel capable, But don't see it in the user manual or posted on the web site.

That would be great! Do you mainly use an adapter and standard tee? The only reason i ordered the adapter tee was to save an few inches behind the stove. If i measured correctly the adapter tee wouldn't stick out as far behind the stove compared to using an adapter and standard tee. My family room isn't very big and every inch i save kind of counts.

And not many pellet dealers in our area to begin with and none carry ICC. My wood stove pipe is ICC (bought used) and that stuff is nice!! My total cost for the ICC pellet over duravent was a little over $100 more. Im starting to regret buying duravent and i haven't even installed it yet lol.
