I have a year old stihl ms461 ported by Scott kunz that I am looking to trade for a 10mm 044 or early non decomp 440. Cash would have to be added on your end.

 

Saw includes a set of metals406 dual dawgs and roller catcher.

I'm not in the market. But do you have any video of that saw in the cuts? Scott is one of the very few saw porters out there I would use.

 

HA HA. Kill em with flattery..... if that dont work, be prepared to break out the checkbook. Know your Maximum $# before approaching. And know when to walk away. ( I never walk away... I just regroup) It's taken me half a year before to convince someone that I wanted it more than they needed it. Set your bait, and check it every once in a while. I'm using the same tacts on you for a saw you have that I need more than you

 

Anyone that would take a perfectly good mint 440 arctic and turn it in to a 440/460 hybrid needs to have there head examined

 

Who's doing that? I know someone with one of those that's keeping it the way it is.

 

His name won't be mentioned as I'm after that saw in a bad way. This CAD is starting to get the best of me and its a hard battle

 

Its a good thing the artic 440 owner has a friend that showed him its not a direct swap.

 

Sounds like you need a ported 461 to add to the comparison
