I have a year old stihl ms461 ported by Scott kunz that I am looking to trade for a 10mm 044 or early non decomp 440. Cash would have to be added on your end.
Man that's a nice saw!! I know a guy with a Minty 440. But he is having a hard time letting it go.. I hope a Minty saw comes out of the wood work for you bro!
It has but I need to figure out my wording to get it out of his hands. I'm trying to think like Steven.
I'm not in the market. But do you have any video of that saw in the cuts? Scott is one of the very few saw porters out there I would use.
HA HA. Kill em with flattery..... if that dont work, be prepared to break out the checkbook. Know your Maximum $# before approaching. And know when to walk away. ( I never walk away... I just regroup) It's taken me half a year before to convince someone that I wanted it more than they needed it. Set your bait, and check it every once in a while. Before ya know it you'll be reelin' em in.
Anyone that would take a perfectly good mint 440 arctic and turn it in to a 440/460 hybrid needs to have there head examined
His name won't be mentioned as I'm after that saw in a bad way. This CAD is starting to get the best of me and its a hard battle
The saw is worth more as a Minty 440 Arctic. Not as a lighter 460. That is all thanks to SquareFile. Your a good friend. . Now I have a really nice OEM MS 460 Slug and Jug that I want to put on my 460 and put a stock muffler I have on it. Then compare the times, like I did with my Solo 665 to 681.
