Well, after much thought. I've decided to try to sell my MS290 with the 18" bar and the chains (3 or 4 I'll verify) that'll all go with it. I bought it brand new and have always used Stihl oil. Just this fall, I did a Muffler Mod to it with the support of this forum. This thing runs great, I've just been bitten by the CAD bug and would like to feed it. I'm asking $260 shipped to the lower 48.
Sorry, if there is more information that is needed just let me know. Its got the .325 chain pitch and its 7 years old.
Not a bad buy at all considering it includes shipping. You may consider CL if it doesn't sell on here as they seem to move quick and be a hot item. I would have considered yours but I was looking for a cheap project.
Both of them went to FHC members... I didn't list it anywhere else. I've had some good Karma, so I wanted to return it back. Beside I'm not too found of selling stuff on Craigslist, I've done it, just not too fond of it...
To be perfectly honest? I've never owned a 290/029. If this was still here tonight (I normally log on from 9-11:30 solid) I was gonna buy it. Just to see how it compares against my 55 Rancher and the new 58 cc Earthquake. Glad someone from here got them both. I love seeing the CAD grow here. Makes me smile inside. My next step in CAD is sending my MS 460 and my Minty 036 Pro to Mastermind. I will be sending them off by the end of the week. I want to have a few ported saws to run at the GTG. Seems there will be a few 036/036's and quite a few 460's and maybe a couple 441's. So people can run their stock saw, then a Woods ported saw My 441C-M should be back soon. Randy has emailed me asking questions, so I know that it won't be long..
The farm boss is nothing impressive in stock form. Its actually painfully slow to me. I will run my 390 with muffler mid with my buddy then run his 290. Its SLOW. But he is still running g the stock safety chain and hits the dirt and rocks often as well.
