With having a 1 acre lawn covered with 23 mature white pines, the amount of long needles that drop this time of the year is mind boggling. I do have a sub compact Case/Farmall tractor which has a 60" mid-mount deck and a three point hitch PTO driven vac collector. Problem is trying to get around all of the tight spots, treees and house. So, I bit the bullet and went out and purchased a Pro-grade Stihl back pack blower. All I can say is WOW! 4 h.p. pushing 720 cfm @ 201 mph. Boys, I'm here to tell you it is the ultimate Blow Job. This thing will actually cut sod on a established lawn. Wet pine needles and leaves don't even slow it down.
Once again, Stihl comes thru BIG TIME.

I love mine too. Have the valves adjusted after your first season with it.

Best part is they are relatively quiet for the output, and lighter than anything else in that range as well.

I fixed some typos for ya Rotti. Hope you don't mind. ;)
