No Longer Available Stihl BG61 Leaf Blower

    Thanks to Cut4Fun for steering me in the direction of the parts i needed to fix this old girl up ! Has a brand new fuel tank grommet and fuel pickup assembly and filter as well. Shes up and running.. And not spilling gas all over anymore. Has a good spark plug.. Decent air filter.. And a hair over 130 psi compression ! I even was able to do a little muffler mod on it to make it breath a little better ! Runs great.... And has a lot of life left in it. The only flaw i see is on the bottom of the tube tip.... Its a little wore out in the corners... But doesnt effect much. I got this used about 15 years ago. The stickers seems to indicate a build date of 1990...     Based on the solid bottom (no trap door to accept a Vac port), this is a blow only.

    These were solid units (as proof of a 20 year history).

    Finally got this fired up tonight-- hurt my shoulder a while back and I was worried about pulling a strange rip cord. With my saws I know what to expect. Anyway, @Sinngetreu was over and I got him to do the honors. We used it to clean the sidewalk, the splitter, a cinderblock, and to style my hair!
