    My friend is parting ways with his 290. Still getting some info, but I know him and he takes good care of his tools.

    Freshly tuned. Comes with 3 bars 16, 18 and 20 and 3 new 20" chains.

    $200.

    I'm thinking it's a bargain. Your thoughts?

    Around here they bring abound $225-250 with a single bar and chain.

    Yep wore out saws with little paint left on the "farm boss" bar I see listed on CL all the time for $300. Not sure what they actually get but when there in the $250 range there not up long.

    One thing I forgot to say I will probably have to go up to Northern Wisconsin to pick it up, where we will have to goof around, eat pizza and drink Leinies.

    I'd much rather be in northern Wisconsin than anywhere in Florida at this time of the year.

    Drink some real Wisconsin craft beers while you're in this great state.

    I think you had at least 1 kind of new glarus better the last time you were in Wisconsin, no? There's a ton of varieties of that brewery's beers. However there's even more available.
    See if you can find Furthermore brewery " fatty Boombalatty ". Seriously the best beer I've had in years.

    That's not a bad deal for a firewood saw. Port the muffler and it'll run really good.

    I'm looking at getting a like-new Stihl 039 off of a guy for 150.......but I'm scared my wife will find out that I've bought yet another chainsaw.....:startled:
