Usually pretty decent little firewood saws. 16" lo pro or 3/8 picco chain & they do well. Gas it, tune it, & try it, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Bought one new in 99 when I couldn’t afford anything better. Have cut wood with it every year since. Abused even more since getting nicer saws as I could afford. Get beat around in back of truck and used for stumps and such. Never have done anything to it but spark plugs over the years. Been a good saw.

Stihl 025 was the first new chainsaw I bought when I bought my property. From clearing a building site to many years of cutting firewood it is a nice saw. Added a 361 to my arsenal and it is my go to saw now but the 025 is fully functional and ready to go when needed.

I have an 021 that runs flawless even in wood way bigger than I should be cutting. The 025 should be even better.
