I can't speak for any of them other than the 192. I have the rear handle version and it is a great little saw. Starts easy it is really smooth. I am always cutting stuff bigger then it is meant to and it powers right on through. I did a muffler mod and returned it and it improves the throttle response and power in the cut. I have heard good thing about the echo and even know a guy who got rid of a ms 150 because he liked the little echo that much more. That is saying something. The 09 is just older and sure it would be a fine saw but by the time it may need parts theyay be hard to find.
I've got alot of time on an Echo CS-271T. It fit my needs perfectly. Light enough for one hand work all day . I'm sure the safety police will be all over me for saying that...but come on....that's what they are for lol ! Great for cutting 6" and under in a tree..or on the ground. It's definetly the lightest choice. And once the muffler is opened up.....starts and runs way better
I've got a echo cs-330t top handle saw and when i opened up the muffler and did some tuning on it, it really woke the saw up and it also starts alot easier now. Great little light saw for what i use it for
A good friend of mine has a nice 009 he bought for $50 and it absolutely rips ( for a tiny tophandle saw..). Excellent throttle response, manages a 12-14" bar nicely. Not sure about parts availability but if u have a line on a cheap runner i wouldnt turn it down.
Most don't realize that a 009 (36.6 cc)has more cc's than an MS200T (35.2 cc's) The 009L(40.8 cc's) is bigger than a MS 230{40.2 cc's). They are a heck of a saw in a small package. I have a 192 rear handle now as well and love it . So light but doesn't have the power of the 009L 192 is a lot better on vibration though.
The 191T was something crazy, like 46cc. Never was a popular model tho, I didn't think they had all that much power, especially for 46cc.
