Steamer ..... Oil it like a cast iron pot??

    Wife just got me a train steamer for wood stove for Christmas do you have to oil the cast iron?

    Put a lite coat of vegetable oil all over it. Bake it in the oven at 200 for 2 to 3 hours. that's how I cure all my cast iron cookware. The longer you bake it the better

    Hover over where it says inbox in the top right beside alerts, at the bottom it will say start new conversation, click on that. On participants line start typing welder and it will come up. give your conversation a title like help, or question...something
