    The oak ones I used to get were green. Wouldn't burn well in the pit so I let them dry a couple years in the log hoop.

    Between that experience and FHC I learned of the loooong drying time for oak.

    Green, that's what it's so stupid heavy.

    I got another pallet on Sunday and had to use my neighbors skid steer to unload it, and it was pretty light in the back end. My tractor didn't have anything for it.

    I have close to 10 cord of it stockpiled now.
