    Anyone know areas to cut firewood in the Spokane area? Preferably Tamarack or Red Fir.

    thats a hell of a drive for firewood, whats wrong with all the Doug Fir you have up in Snohomish?

    Sorry, I don't, as I get all of mine off of my land. I am pretty sure there are national forest and Inland Paper lands where you can do that, but I don't know anything of it.

    Steven Stern harvests wood in North Idaho national forests, perhaps he can provide a little guidance.
