    Almost did last night , gettin the pine fire goin , I was sittin right there but, I got distracted right at the wrong time for 3 or 4 min , alarm went off , I looked up and the pipe was 1010 :bug: adjusted the air down , temp started dropping immediately, after a minute it was good , no harm done:smoke:

    It was only that hot for a couple min , magnet thermometer was still sittin under 300 , no lag time on the digital thermometer

    Yep, when I was a young kid we burnt coal in a pot belly stove that thing glowed cherry red.:picard:
