Aw jeez, that's why my stacks in WI are going to get snowed in tomorrow! Welp, might turn into a few last minute fireplace wood orders...
At least now I know who to blame. I had a nice oak score set up for tomorrow. With 4-9 with 40 mph winds predicted I'm thinking that not going to work! Best case scenario it is still there by Friday...but it is going to be a mess buried in that much white stuff.
It'll melt quickly. We had 2.5" on Saturday. It made my job of picking up 2+ free cords of ash more work than it should've been. By Monday it was all melted. That snow event dropped 6" in some spots down here and it was all gone on Monday, regardless if it was 2 or 6".
By my place we haven't really got wallopped yet, having stated that we likely will get buried before the end of April.
I'm glad I don't live in the narrow band of where they are getting a fair amount north of me. I've got splitting/stacking to do and snow messes that up! I'm hopeful that whatever we do get it will be gone by Friday after work or by Saturday at the latest. I need to get it done before it warms up too much.
Thankfully so far, they still really don't have much idea what the storm is doing. But I live in rusk county and they just pulled rusk county out of all warnings and advisories from it for the moment so fingers crossed
looks like I am in that 1" to 4" range. V plow still on the yard truck, but got to get fuel (V460 dodge) thristy bugger. Haven't used it yet this year. Tractor in the sea can needs fuel also. blower in garage it has fuel. Motavation for clearing snow- gone with wind.
