Hey guys whats up! Guys im like stuck bad! I have a craftsman chainsaw model 358.356280, i messed my drum sprocket up, im trying to find a replacement. The part number is 530-048084, anyone know what replacement part that would be? The sproket is a 6-t the center hole is 5/8 and with the bearring hole is 1/2. What sprocket would replace that? Ive found the 530-048084 for insane prices like 40-60 bucks! I found lots of them on ebay buy dont know what one would fit. They say they are replacements for craftsmen, hasnavera, stile and so on, but i have no clue what one to buy. I have wood to finnish and cold weather is hitting soon and my saw is down! If anyone can help please do!
I believe that model is a Poulan 2800. It looks like this? 6 tooth would make that for 3/8 chain. Most of them seem to be 7T for .325 chain Model Profile: 2800 Best I can come up with. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/drum-sprocket-model-270028003300-p-248055.html

Wow dont ask me how but i thought it was a t6, i pilled the sprocket and its a t7,,doh! So yeah that is the right part, i found the same one on EBay for 13 bucks! Woot! Man i cant thank you enough. Hell i owe you a beer bro!
Got the sprocket today and fit and worked perfectly! Now i got a quick question about the chain tension, my chain keeps coming lose wile running the saw. I just keeps re-tighting it after a wile of use. I wad wondering if there should be washers inbetween the bar and the cover where the nuts hold the bar. It just seems i cant get those bolts tightened enough. There was never washers on them, but i always had this problem. Yes i use the tension screw as well, that dont seem to be moving. Any ideas please throw them my way! But for now i got some wood to get cut! Later all and thanks for everything!
You need to make sure the chain tensioning "nub", is in the hole on the bar. You might need to back it down a bit. Remove the cover, eyeball the hole in the bar with the nub. Replace cover and just snug the nuts. Tighten the chain via the screw then tighten the nuts.
