Some type of elm?

    Lots of these trees on my walk from the car to work. Always thought they were so cool looking, never knew what they were though. Pictures a bit dark and there are no leaves yet but I'm sure the bark will give it away to someone in the know.

    Cool. I googled Chinese elm bark pictures and it looked similar but sycamore looks spot on. Thanks, just curious.

    Jeffrey nailed it. There's no mistaking Sycamore. One of the oddest looking trees in my opinion.

    Chinese elm is very close to but not the same flakes. I learned something new today. Didn't know Chinese elm before today.
