    First 6 rounds of red oak made a nice load. And WOW is it heavy!

    Took 3 red oaks down at mom's.
    Looks like I'll be set through 2022:dex:

    First one was pretty hollow at the bottom but still good up about 6 feet.

    It's stacked. We got the bikes out, went for a little ride, topped off with fresh gas, got ice cream, came home, jumped in the truck and went and got my trailer at mom's, came home and loaded the neighbors dump truck on the trailer and hauled it to the garage for a brake line repair, and came back and ate some cherry pie for supper... at 9:30pm...just so you wouldn't think I was slacking! lol:p

    I couldn't pick up half a round! those suckers are heavy and wet!!!
    I'd guess I was getting 24 splits out of a round. Miss July even commented that the splits were bigger than usual.
