Thought we could post a few pic of different town celebrations. Here's ours from Saturday night. Here's a short video of the rest of the show...

That's a pretty good grand finally. In our little town there is none. Just separate homes setting some off. Chaz has a few that he might set off. Now Olean 15 min away, has always put them on. I have only gone downtown a few times on my life. When I was a kid, we use to walk across the golf course to the big tee and watch them. That used to be a great sledding hill. That was until a bid wig bought some property right next and had the golf course terrace it so no more sledding.

You're welcome. The town that puts that show on is about 20 miles from us, in the same county though.

Pre-Boston Marathon Terror Attack the local University (funded by local banks and business) would host a show. Could watch all but the ground display(s) from the porch. We'd have to give the English Mastiff sedatives otherwise she would be petrified hiding in the closet.
Now, no more shows that could be used to protest the world's many imperfections that anyone could find insulting and enraging.
When the nieces and nephews were little we'd have a small BBQ and my brothers and sisters would have a place to park their cars and could wait and avoid the traffic jam afterwards.

Love my small town of Stromsburg! We have “first fridays” over the summer with entertainment and shops open late those nights. Couple local food trucks and a wood fired pizza trailer supply the grub. There isn’t much of a bar, but for those that desire, there’s a nice wine tasting bar with a few beer choices. The fun of this first Friday is fireworks will get shot off the rooftop above the 100year old building that houses the wine bar. I’ll try and snap some pics to share afterwards. My birthday is July 4 so she gets to celebrate too.

Will probably have a fire put fire if it cools off a bit. Been hovering mid 90’s with stupid high humidity.

    Happy Independence Day Hoarders!
