Holly is a small town in Oakland County Michigan. When I was a boy of Junior High age it was a farming community but today not so much. Gone is the old drug store where I could get a cherry coke soda, Gone is the Five and Dime with the candy counter where I could buy a dimes worth of chocolate covered Peanuts. Gone is the Butcher shop we visited every Friday evening tro buy a weeks wortgh of meat and they would some times give mom a pig head to make head chease from. Gone is old shoe shop where you could get your shes repaired and draw in that new leather and polish smell. The hardware store with the dutch boy cover the world murl is gone also.

The Bank has closed its doors and moved to a strip mall site, they even closed the old fire hall and built a new one out side the city limits, well they moved the city limits out never looked.

It was a big show in Holly that Wednesday evning, all the street parking spots were full, Battle alley was full also, 2 rows of cars ran down the north bound side of main street and some were parked on the side walks at the ends useing wheel chair ranps to get over the curb.

    AMC AMX.

This 1979 Pontiac belongs to a fellow I met at the Swarts Creek show the Saturday before. He had not drove the Pontiac because he didn't want to pay a regustation fee. Told him no nee dto pay, just won't be judged.
He said he bought it from a fellow from a guy in Bay City 27 or 28 years ago. Said it is all orginal.

Sorry I didn't want to bust his bubble. It is a Bonnieville Broham. GM's two tone paint is one color on top and the second color on the bottom. they also back then used a paper pin strip and they never had sport mirrors. I know the sun and shade hides the paint colors.
