I will be refurbishing my Silvey RSII with new parts from Lucky Dog Manufacturing. SCARR is who makes the parts. A new slide kit, chain guides and chain stop. I found a different square grinder that has caught my eye and pending how much I like the updated Silvey, it may need a new home.

He makes a steel chain guides to replace the plastic one & maybe some shims as well.

If you are needing parts or such, hit him up, he can likely fix you up.

I've been looking at the one Baliley's has CZ223 by T&S professional. I had a Simington 451C -- I like the Silvey RS II better. If the upgrades to the Silvey don't float my boat I will sell it and get the T&S. See if I like it better. Still working on trying to by a Zieglmeier, he doesn't use it but it was his dad's. Have another Silvey to look at, not sure what model it is, most likely buy it and pass it on unless its a SDN4 or Pro Sharp.
