Did a leaf blower yesterday and shut it off as I left for work. Hopefully the upper 40's forecast is correct.

Planning to shut mine down for the day tomorrow and pull the combustion fan and give it and the venting a good cleaning. Have burned about 75 bags since the last vent cleaning.

My stove has been off the past 5 days. Temps in the 50, I run a small heater to take the chill off at night. It needs a good cleaning, but I have been sick, was in the urgent care and a emergency appointment at the cardiologist. I am hoping to get it cleaned this weekend, winter will be back starting Monday night! So I got my fingers crossed that i get some strength to clean the stove!

Thanks for the kind remarks, I am hanging in there. I have been sick the past 7 years, I have a rare genetic illness. I was having some chest pain, and I cant walk far with out being out of breath. They did a bunch of cardiac tests, and so far everything is ok. I am supposed to have a cat scan of my aorta, because with the genetic illness aneurysm are common. I am starting to think I have a pretty good respiratory infection even though my chest xray was okay. So I am taking it day by day, and see what comes up next! Since we have a wide community of folks from all over, if you know of anyone that has a condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or a Chiari Malformation, shoot me a pm. Most likey not, but you never know. Always like to meet folks that battle the same illness, and learn from them!

As for shutting the stove down. When it gets around 40* outside. We shut the stove off during the day. Lots of Solar gain from South facing house.

Just got finished cleaning her all up. It's been shut down for 3 hours now, but the wife will be home soon and the whining will start because it's 68 in here. Figured I'd clean it before the cold comes back on Tuesday. More minus temps.
