    A little overkill for this size of wood but I like running the 488. Between the 488 and the old 500s I’ve used them more than any of my other saws. [​IMG][​IMG]

    I might get flamed for this .....

    ..... but I've had 346s and 488s ....... and prefer the 488s.

    Just feels better balanced and stronger to me.

    actually ,the 488 is a really great saw . I keep 3 of them going for their owners . They’re torquey things for a small saw ,and as reliable a you can find .
