Picked up a nice one today.
Leupold vx1 3-9x40, 2 10 Rd mags, 1 5 Rd mag, and an extra high cheek weld for the stock. $300 solid deal imo.

Shot a lil today but it was cold and windy... couldn't get into my groove. Needed hand warmers. And because I couldn't click, I should have brought the lead sled. My Goal was to test different ammo. Best group I got was cci mini mag rn. Shot those, automatch, m22, and golden bullets. In order of best to worst:

    Cci rn mini mag
    Win m22
    New formula golden bullet
    Fed auto match

Who's got this rifle and what does yours like?

Nice gun and glass combo :yes:Definitely need a good rest/sled while testing ammo. Good luck and let us know what it prefers in the end.

Savage makes some great rim fire rifles. I have a tack driving 93R17.;)

I have a "normal" Savage Mark II (no bull barrel). It shoots Mini Mags very well as well as Remington Target rounds. If I remember correctly it may actually like CCI Standard Velocity rounds slightly better. I've found that most of my .22's prefer the Standard Velocity, and they're slightly more quiet as well.
