Against the advice of ironpony, because indeed it was too wet, I ventured out Saturday and what began as enjoyable enough resulted in a lot of extra touching of the "prize"-This 16" shagbark was just off the ridge road on my farm. Once the Polar was loaded and ready to embark down to the truck,,,wait for it,,,I couldn't pull the 20 yds back to the road, had to almost unload entirely, get to the road and then carry the rounds up to the trailer. It limited my load and vigor and thus less than a full load. Still, a rewarding day of TTT and 25 rounds of primo btu's-tree down since March propped off ground image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

image.jpeg Should easily fill the void in the "rail rack" and allow me to cover, the rack contains ash and cherry currently, should make for a nice mix...and below, a sign spring has sprung-I couldn't make out the noise initially until heading down the mountain...hundreds of frogs in the mud hole.... image.jpeg image.jpeg And what remains of the shagbark image.jpeg

How do you like the foreman? What year is it? I have a rancher that's 12 yrs old and am going to upgrade in a few years.

I had to unload a free rounds of shag out of my sled due to the extra heaviness of the shag, coupled with melting snow and defrosting mud . I got stuck on the final hill by the road. Oh well.

Wheels would have helped instead of a sled Saturday.

We might get a dusting of snow tomorrow to help as it's pretty much all gone, that and it's below freezing again.

Do I see tadpoles in the puddle?

Love the Foreman-it's an S-bought it with less than 30 hrs on it and a 2009 Lone Wolf 12' trailer in '09 for what the ATV was worth alone-bought from an older gentleman who had never ridden it on anything but pavement, hence the front tires need replaced but the backs are same as new. That's probably the reason I couldn't get back up to the road-I need new fronts...Can never go wrong with Honda IMHO- image.jpeg

Tons of them-and literally a hundred frogs---the one pic'd is evidently a cam hog...the rest dove as I approached-they were making all kinds of noise...I can barely get around that mud hole, didn't want to disturb or hurt any of them...

I know it is a bit expensive, but through some aggressive tires on the wheeler, and strap down a few heavy rounds on the racks and that problem goes away.
