Finally picked them up today. The 4.5" is a sweetheart. I gave the bore a shot of brake cleaner, then went to town. 0 issues. The trigger does need some work, pretty heavy for the DA, and some creep on the SA. But the function for a NIB .22lr was superb. Wife gets to shoot her "Lady Lilac" in a few weeks, next planned range session. Doubt she can wait that long. edit- Anyone know of SR22 specialists? Aftermarket stuff for triggers? Thanks, JB
I'd be curious to know what can be done for the trigger also. That's the main reason that's kept me from picking one up in purple for my daughter. She's shot a buddy's, and while the size and weight was perfect that trigger was too much for her.

Google SR22 trigger job. I actually like the trigger on mine, so have never pursued any modifications. Fun little pistols!
Not finding anything available yet. Galloway Precision may introduce something but not at this time. After a couple of bricks, I'll see how much it's worn in, go from there. There is a guy who posted a video of his trigger job. He rounds the edges of the "Shear", so take that for what it's worth.
I'm pretty sure Ruger say's it's ok to dry-fire the SR22, so you can help break the trigger in from the couch!
